This privacy policy sets out how WhiteGoodsRescue uses and protects any information that the customer gives when he/she uses our service.
We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using our customer care organization; you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
What we collect
We may collect the following information:
Name
Contact information including email address, phone and address.
What we do with the information we gather.
We require this information to provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
Schedule, deliver and complete a service visit to your home either through an WhiteGoodsRescue service technician or a third party technician contracted by WhiteGoodsRescue to deliver this service to you.
As part of the service visit or service transaction we may send you an email afterwards to ask for your feedback in a short survey.
Internal record keeping of service visits and transactions.
Record keeping to ensure quality services in the event that you contact us again with a question or issue with your WhiteGoodsRescue product.
We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or other’s rights, property or safety.
Limits of Information use
We will not use any information collected for purposes of a service visit or transaction for any future marketing purpose.
We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personal and identifiable information for any marketing or other purpose not related to the service visit and experience.
Any personal and identifiable information transferred to a trusted third parties who are assisting us in conducting our business or servicing you will be kept confidential and maintained and protected to the same standard as it is with RTechRepairs.
Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Our repair service comprises the preparation of the service visit (e.g. agreement on appointment for the service visit), the repair service and post processing (e.g. questionnaire on consumer satisfaction with our repair service). For preparation and post processing we and/or our service providers and partners will contact the consumer who has ordered the service visit (“Customer”) by mail, e-mail, fax or phone call. Personal data received from the “Customer” in connection with a repair visit will be processed in line with UK data protection laws. The post processing is an integral part of our service contract in order to ensure that the repair service meets all relevant requirements and to be able to take further remedial action if and when we deem that this may be appropriate based on the Customer’s feedback.
